Café in Palma Old Town
Coffee, fresh juices and Mallorcan aperitifs in the Almacenes Casa Roca building
Coffee in the old Almacenes Casa Roca
Capítulo’s café sits inside the restored Almacenes Casa Roca building on Carrer dels Hostals, among its original Art Deco woodwork. Stop in for an espresso, cortado, cappuccino or café con leche, with oat, soy or almond milk if you prefer.
There are also chai, matcha and golden milk lattes, iced coffees, and teas from English Breakfast to red-berry rooibos. For coffee lovers, our speciality coffee tasting follows the journey from bean to cup with a 75-year-old island roastery, across six coffees.
Fresh juices, smoothies and aperitifs
Orange juice is squeezed to order, and our Let’s Go juice presses orange, carrot, Granny Smith apple and ginger. As the day goes on, the café turns into a bar: Aperol and Campari spritz, Mallorcan aperitius, house vermouth and Mallorcan gins.
Pair it with something from the kitchen: a llonguet with sobrasada, or a slice of gató d’ametlla, the island’s almond cake.
Our coffee, roasted in the middle of Mallorca
We pour Arabay coffee, roasted in Lloret de Vistalegre, just outside Sineu in the centre of the island. Arabay has been a family-run coffee business since 1952, and together we have created our own speciality bean: a roast made for Capítulo, chosen to reflect what makes Casa Roca itself.
